General rules when use ELA facility
• Care the facility, don’t run in the hallway, don’t scratch the wall, don’t draw on the wall
• Do not touch the items in the school reserved for ELA students (information on the white board, cubbies, books, paintings, toys, stationaries, iPad, decorations, flash cards, etc)
• Keep the tables and chairs clean (no markings, paints, glues, etc.)
• Use our own teaching and learning suppliers, do not touch ELA’s supplies
• Take away the trash before you leave for every session
• Mainly stay in the classroom area, unless need to go to the bathroom
• Do not run outside of the school boarder - will be out of school‘s scope
• Recover the room original state before you leave
• On-duty parents & ANYONE to keep your eyes on abnormal behaviors
How to be compliant with our rules
Teachers:
• Come 5-10mins earlier
• Take pictures when you just get in
• Meet your students in the multipurpose room and take them to your room
• Call the kids together to clean the room before you leave, take away the trash. If there’s no next class in your room, recover the state for the tables and chairs when you just come in
• Do not allow the students to use the stationary in the room
• If happen the stationary box is touched, request the student to recover
• Place the trash in the trash bag in the multipurpose room
• Do not use the markers and erasers in the room, use our own. Please come to the multipurpose room when you come.
On duty parents
• See the responsibilities listed on the website GCCA 中文学校 - Calendar , plus
• Use the master key to open only the classrooms that we use
• Watch the lobby and take away the trash, and everything is recovered and close the doors before leave
Parents
• Emphasize the rules to the kids at home
• Send the kids 5-10mins earlier to the school multipurpose room, the teachers will take them to the classrooms
• Remind the students to prepare their learning supplies before go to the school; request them to use their own learning supplies during the class, not something for ELA students.
• If there’s issue with a classroom, we will weekly call a parent from that room to monitor the behavior until stabilized.
