General rules:
• Respect the facility. DO NOT run in the hallways or deface or damage the walls.
• Do not use items in the school reserved for ELA personnel (information on the white board, cubbies, books, paintings, toys, stationery, devices, decorations, flash cards, etc.)
• Keep the tables and chairs clean (no markings, paint, glue, etc.)
• Use teaching and learning supplies provided by CSG staff. DO NOT use ELA supplies.
• Empty the trash cans into the hallway trashcans before you leave for every session.
• Stay in the classroom unless you need to go to the bathroom.
• Do not run outside of the school boundaries.
• Restore the room to its original state before you leave.
• On-duty parents & staff are watching for ANY inappropriate behavior.
How to be compliant with our rules:
Teachers:
• Come 5 - 10 minutes prior to the beginning of class.
• Take pictures of the classroom upon arrival.
• Meet your students in the multipurpose room (Room 218), and take them to your room when the bell rings.
• Clean the room and empty the trash before you leave. If there’s no next class in your room, restore the state of the tables and chairs.
• Do not allow students to use the stationery or any other supplies in the classroom. If it happens, we must replace them.
• Place the trash in the trash bag in the multipurpose room or in the large trash cans in the hallways.
• Do not use the markers and erasers in the classroom. These are available in the multipurpose room.
On Duty Parents
• See the responsibilities listed on the GCCA 中文学校 - Calendar.
• Use the master key to open only the classrooms that we use.
• Watch the lobby and take out the trash. Check that everything is in order and close the doors before departing.
Parents
• Please remind your children that that we are an education program and operate as a school.
• Please send your children 5 - 10 minutes early to the multipurpose room. The teachers will take them to their classrooms.
• Please remind your children to prepare their learning supplies before coming to school.
• Please be aware that repeated behavioral issues will result in disciplinary action in accordance to standard school disciplinary protocols.
